The library has public computers with Internet access. This describes what we have and how to use them.
- Our library offers the use of seven (7) computers for public use.
- The computers are located on the South wall of the library.
- Loaded onto each computer is a web browser and Microsoft Office.
- You have an unlimited amount of time on the computers during regular business hours; however, if the lab is full and there are people waiting, your time is limited to one (1) hour.
- All computers shut down fifteen (15) minutes prior to the library's posted closing. Mondays-Thursdays the lab shuts down at 6:45 pm, Fridays the lab shuts down at 4:45pm, and Saturdays the lab shuts down at 2:45pm. No exceptions.
- When you first walk into the library there is a sign up sheet on the circulation desk for the computer lab. We ask you to find an open computer, note the number, sign your first name and the time you are signing in the correct column for your computer.
- The WI-fi password is available at the circulation desk.
- Please restart if you have downloaded a file or changed computer settings.
- If you want to save a file to keep or to work on at another computer, you will need to email it to yourself or have a USB drive to save it to. Any downloaded file or document will be deleted on restart.
- You must be at least 10 years old to use the computer.
- Printing is available for $.15/black and white copy or $.50/color copy.
- The staff has the right to terminate the use of a computer to anyone who is being disruptive, disrespectful or using the computer in an inappropriate manner. Please refer to Internet Use and Patron Behavior Policies.
